San Diego State University good for astronomy?
My biggest astronomy. I want to go to both UCLA and San Diego State University, but housing is expensive, if I may say that UCLA is the San Diego State University is good for astronomy?
I went to SDSU and had some friends who were older astronomy. It is a small, but can be a good thing: classes are much smaller, you get more individual attention from teachers and get to work from the top division, which will be easier to get an internship or research, because there are fewer people to compete. Moreover, no is as prestigious as UCLA or any UC and other school supplies is not current with less funds. San Diego State is a good school, but it's a totally different people ultra-competitive students at UCLA. Yes, you will be surrounded by the best and brightest from UCLA but will have to work very hard – which is great if you motivates you, but can be quite daunting. It might be easier to get graduated in the top of his class at SDSU, and although not particularly known for its astronomy program, the first class in a school looks good on paper. If you plan to be an astronomer, you will get at least a master, and whatever school you choose for it is more important than when you went to graduation. any school you choose, good luck!
